caeda: (Do I make a good bride?)

A night to remember

The wedding had been one of the most massive affairs in the entire world, many nations celebrating the marriage of the hero king and his bride. Yet for Marth and Caeda this day had been a very long time coming, and perhaps a little overdue. Two wars were enough to make the hardiest veterans weary, but Marth had been through at least four, one of which only he, Caeda, and Naga knew about. Saving one doomed timeline and then traveling back to their original time with divine intervention from Naga. Caeda was likely the only person alive to have been brought back from the dead, and in spite of all the pain, sorrow, and heartache, they still had each other.

Caeda was dressed in her flowing white wedding gown, brilliant azure blue flowers adorning her hair, and a glow of happiness radiating from her. Cradled like a princess and a bride in Marth's strong arms as he carried her to their honeymoon suite. They'd kissed, they'd danced, they ate and laughed with friends, family, and loved ones, Bantu promising Tiki she could come live with them after their honeymoon. Oh Tiki... Caeda still loved her like a daughter and a little sister, yet a part of her still hurt a little at the thought that Tiki as an adult had suffered so much,.. and had taken her Marth's first time.

She shook her head, burying her face in Marth's chest and remembering that they both had been in mourning over losing her. She couldn't expect Marth to give up on finding someone just because she'd died, she wanted his happiness above all else. She's just glad it was someone they both loved and who was no longer in the picture. As much as she still loved Tiki as an adult, she preferred dealing with her younger self who wasn't competition and Caeda felt less awkward cuddling. Sometimes a part of her wondered if Tiki was hoping for a menage tres with both of them.

"Marth? I've waited so long for this... thank you my love. Today was so much more than I'd ever dreamed of." She let her shapely legs that were dangling over Marth's arm, swing back and forth.
